The Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly Rt Hon. Adjoto, Kabiru has pleaded with the residents of Oregbei who protested to the House on Wednesday 16 August 2017 to maintain peace and order as the House will call their representative and the Refuse mangers in their domain to resolve the dispute between them.

The speaker said this when he received the protesting Oregbemi residents at the house of assembly complete.

He directed the protesters to put their grievances in a petition and submit thirty copies of the petition to the office of the speaker to enable the house call the relevant agencies of government and the aggrieved persons to a round table to resolve their differences.

Earlier, the spokesman of the protesting oregbemi resident Mr. Godwin Uche informed Mr. speaker and the honourable members that they will not be able to pay the one thousand five hundred naira (1500, 00) monthly sanitation dues imposed on them by the waste manager in the area, whereas other residents in Ikpoba hill pays five hundred naira (N500,00) monthly for the same service.
